For a natural look, concentrate blooms near the base of the branch.

Summer blooms may come and go (sadly), but a bouquet of dried flowers, made easily and inexpensively by hand, will carry you through the autumn months and beyond. Simply pick up a small branch that fits on your door, and hot-glue dried flowers along its center and extending to its twigs. For the most striking combinations, see our palette suggestions, below. Let the glue set a few minutes, then hang the arrangement with matching ribbon or string.
