The old rose garden was knee-deep in blackberries, the fountain was full of dirt and weeds, a crabapple sat sadly enveloped in Old Man’s Beard, and there were three ponds. This garden in Oregon was transformed from a rose one into an English kitchen garden, complete with vintage-style greenhouse. Brick paths edged with box give the vegetable beds structure and provide evergreen interest during the winter months. There are some apple trees along an east-facing wall and they were trained as espaliers. To highlight the vintage look of the greenhouse, the owners added mirrors, antique boxes, and vintage terra cotta pots. Get more pics of this beautiful outdoor space below!
