Sticky Window Art

sticky-final

This long-lasting and sticky art project will have kids experimenting with art for hours… or days!

Materials:

  • clear contact paper
  • scissors
  • sticky tape
  • anything you like to decorate with
(we used colored matchsticks/toothpicks, bottle tops and cupcake liners)
  • a window

Instructions

      sticky-long

    1. Cut a large square of clear contact paper and tape it to your window with the sticky side out.

    2. Put tape in each corner and halfway along each side so it won’t move or bunch up when you pull things off.

    3. Press your matchsticks (or whatever you’ve chosen to work with) to the adhesive to build different designs and pictures. We were able to reposition even the delicate cupcake liners without tearing them.

    What shapes will you make?
