Made out of a milk jug and a few other household items, this whitewater raft will take your tiny toys on some epic adventures! This project can be put to good use in the lake, at the beach and at the pool!
Materials:
- empty milk jug
- hole puncher
- 2 cake pop sticks
- duct tape
- hot glue gun and gluesticks
- scissors
Instructions
Using sturdy scissors (an adult may need to help with this part) cut off the base of a gallon milk jug.- Using a hole puncher, punch holes in two opposite sides of the jug base. Your rafting paddles will poke through these holes.
- Next, take two cake pop sticks and fold a small strip of duct tape over each end. Smooth-out the wrinkles. Cut the folded-over duct tape on the end of each stick into the shape of a paddle.
- Poke the paddles into the holes on either side of the milk jug.
- Using a little hot glue, glue the paddles to the jug at the holes on each inside of the jug.
