Landscapist Louis Benech and artist Othoniel have created a wonderful water sculpture to enliven Bosquet gardens of Versailles. These fantastic fountain sculptures look like giant gold pearls with water dancing around them. The water effects the multitude of fountains that are playing there with the plant architecture and textures. Four vertical jets gush from these blue beads. A total amount of 1751 glass beads were blown in Murano. The construction of the sculpture fountains required lots of technical work: engineers, glaziers, metalworkers, gilders worked together to create this fantastic water garden area that contrasts so well with the classic and beautiful landscape.
