Mustaches on a Stick

mustache final

Sick day crafts are always needed, and they have to be things that will both put a smile on your child’s face and be easy to accomplish! My two older children have been home sick this week, and we decided to lighten things up a bit with a five-minute mustache craft.

Materials:

  • white piece of paper
  • glue stick
  • scissors
  • markers or crayons
  • a Popsicle stick

Instructions

  1. mustache 2Draw the shape of a mustache on the paper and have your child color it in. Older children can draw the mustache themselves. TIP: Mustaches come in all designs and sizes, but as a general rule, you are connecting two large teardrop shapes, with the round part of the teardrops touching one another.

  2. mustache 3After you finish drawing and coloring your mustache, cut it out.

  3. Glue your mustache to the Popsicle stick using a dab of glue from a glue stick.

  4. mustache 5Once the glue is dry, you can use your imagination to play!

Enjoy!
