Sick day crafts are always needed, and they have to be things that will both put a smile on your child’s face and be easy to accomplish! My two older children have been home sick this week, and we decided to lighten things up a bit with a five-minute mustache craft.
Materials:
- white piece of paper
- glue stick
- scissors
- markers or crayons
- a Popsicle stick
Instructions
- Draw the shape of a mustache on the paper and have your child color it in. Older children can draw the mustache themselves. TIP: Mustaches come in all designs and sizes, but as a general rule, you are connecting two large teardrop shapes, with the round part of the teardrops touching one another.
- After you finish drawing and coloring your mustache, cut it out.
- Glue your mustache to the Popsicle stick using a dab of glue from a glue stick.
- Once the glue is dry, you can use your imagination to play!
Enjoy!
