Marshmallow Dreidels

With these edible dreidels, you can’t lose! Happy Hanukkah!

  • 12 large mashmallows
  • 12 pretzel sticks
  • 12 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
  • blue candy melts
  • white chocolate

    1. marshmallow-dreidels-longFirst, line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup. Then, take a pretzel stick and gently press it into one of the flat sides of the marshmallow, careful not to skewer the mallow completely.

    2. Melt one square of white chocolate in the microwave until smooth. Gently dip the flat part of a Hershey kiss into the white chocolate and press to adhere to the flat bottom of the marshmallow, holding carefully for about 15-20 seconds. Repeat with remaining dreidels, then freeze the dreidels to set the kisses, about 15 minutes.

    3. While the dreidels are in the freezer, make the symbols/Hebrew letters. Lay out wax paper on a flat surface and microwave the additional white chocolate. Pour the melted chocolate in a plastic bag, seal, then snip off a tiny corner.

    4. Pipe the symbols carefully onto the wax paper. You could try piping the Star of David, too! Allow the symbols to set.

    5. Now melt the candy melts. Dip each dreidel into the blue candy melts, allowing excess to drip off. Return to the baking sheet. Once the dreidels have been dipped and the blue melts have set, carefully remove the symbols and attach them VERY carefully to the dreidels with a little extra blue candy melt (I just got the tip of a toothpick wet, wet the back of the symbol, and very gently attached it to the dreidel). Once the symbols are set, you’re ready to serve!

Note: this recipe is easily doubled or tripled–just make as many as you’d like an adjust the candy melts and white chocolate accordingly.
