Making snow paint is such a fun craft and sensory activity for kids. This two-ingredient paint is simply made by mixing school glue with shaving cream. Paint onto construction paper and the paint dries fluffy and spongy. The craft is not only a boredom-buster winter activity but is also a great way to open up a conversation with your kids about the changing weather and snow in winter.
- school glue
- shaving cream
- a container for mixing
- construction paper
1. Begin by making your snow paint. Mix 1 part school glue with 2 parts shaving cream. We used a glass jar to mix the ingredients but you can also use a mixing bowl or any other container.
2. Once the paint is mixed, spoon into a bowl if that makes it easier for your little ones.
3. Dip paintbrushes into the mixture and paint on dark construction paper.
