Capture your garden in full bloom with a home printer-scanner. Trim flowers as desired, then place them petal-side down on the scanner’s glass. Put dark paper on top and gently close the lid. Select the highest-resolution setting, make a scan, then print it out and tape it in your garden journal, noting the date.
