Step 1:
Open a paper coffee sleeve and trace the shape onto your felt. Then cut out the sleeve shape from the felt.
Step 2:
Pin the rickrack or ribbon to the front of sleeve.
Step 3:
Sew the rickrack or ribbon to the sleeve by hand or use a sewing machine.
Step 4:
Wrap the felt sleeve around a paper coffee cup and adjust it for sizing. Make sure it’s snug. Pin the sleeve ends together to hold them in place.
Step 5:
Sew the sleeve ends together with an over stitch.
Now your coffee sleeve is done! Carry it with you in your purse, knapsack or pocket, so next time you buy a coffee, it’s ready to use. This will help you be kind to trees and make a small difference every day!
