Turn ordinary penne pasta into fun and festive DIY ornaments with this simple holiday craft! We made triangles in the video but you can make many different shapes by simply gluing the pasta pieces together. You might even try painting the pasta shapes a festive color. Tie on a string and you are all set. Give the ornaments as gifts or hang them on a tree!
Materials:
- Penne Pasta
- gold paint
- hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
- baker’s twine
Instructions
1. Start by gluing three Penne pasta shapes together with Hot Glue to form a triangle. You can glue the pasta into any shape, but we made triangles for this craft.
2. Once you have glued the pasta together paint the pasta shapes. We used gold paint but you can use any color you like.
3. Lastly tie a small piece of baker’s twine to each shape to form a hanger. Hang on a tree or give out as gifts to friends, teachers and family and you are all set!
