DIY Cardboard Stackers: Video

Cut, paint and stack recycled paper rolls with your little engineer to make your own cardboard stackers!

Materials:

  • toilet paper rolls
  • paint
  • paintbrush
  • scissors

Instructions

    s2

      1. Gather a handful of toilet paper rolls and cut a few of them in half and into to shorter sizes.

      1. Cut four slits equal distances apart, on one side of each of the paper rolls. These slits will affix each paper roll to another.

      1. Paint the toilet paper rolls in many different colors or choose just a couple of colors. You can paint designs on each paper roll if you wish.

    1. Once the paper rolls have dried completely, you can begin stacking. Check to see that the slits are still open and if not, use your scissors to snip them open again. Stack the paper rolls to create building designs, rocket ships, bridges and anything your imagination designs!
