Bubble Wrap Rug

No one, I repeat NO ONE can resist jumping on bubble wrap, right? Why not turn that leftover bubble wrap into a rug and have some fun popping the bubbles during a dance party?

Materials:

  • Bubble Wrap
  • Duct Tape
  • Scissors


Instructions

    1. Lay out a section of bubble wrap on a hard surface.Fun sensory craft for kids: Make a Bubble Wrap Rug!
    2. Tape the first section to the ground using a long strip of duct tape.Fun sensory craft for kids: Make a Bubble Wrap Rug!
    3. Continue adding sections of bubble wrap. Tape them to each other and the floor.Fun sensory craft for kids: Make a Bubble Wrap Rug!

    You should be able to get quite a few uses out of the rug before all the bubbles are popped. Be sure to remove the duct tape and throw your bubble wrap in the recycling bin when you are done!

    Make a Throw Rug

    In lieu of taping the bubble wrap to the floor, tape it together on the front and back and make it mobile! Just be aware that a floating rug may move more when jumped on.Fun sensory craft for kids: Make a Bubble Wrap Rug!
