Add a little fun to your child’s pencil with a bookworm pencil topper! Simply twist a pipe cleaner around a pencil, add a googly eye and you’re done!
Materials:
- pencils
- hot glue gun and glue stick
- pipe cleaners
- googly eyes
Instructions
- Create a head of a bookworm by tightly winding one end of a pipe cleaner.
- Next, twist the rest of the pipe cleaner, which becomes the body of the worm, around the pencil.
- Add a googly eye to the head of the bookworm with a small dab of hot glue.
You’re done! Make as many as you like. Try different colored pipe cleaners or adding multiple eyes.
